Amenities

Jungle tour leaves from Cancun´s Hotel Zone towards the channels of the Nichupte Lagoon. Before the tour begins, you will be provided with life-vests and snorkel equipment (mask, snorkel tube and fins) and bottled water. When arriving to the reef site a bilingual guide will offer instructions and snorkeling tips for the underwater tour.

Restrictions

• Pregnant women and people suffering back problems are not allowed to take this tour.
• The minimum age to drive is 18 years old.
• Teens under 17 years old must do the tour with a paying adult.

Tour Tips

• It´s important to be 10 minutes before the scheduled Jungle Tour.
• Wear hat, light clothes, bathing suit and sandals.
• Bring along extra money (for National Marine Park $3 USD fee per person, shopping, food & drinks), underwater camera, environmental friendly sun block and change of clothes.
• It´s forbidden to touch coral reef and sea creatures, and extract shells from their natural habitat.

If you do not wish to participate in the snorkeling tour, you can stay aboard the speedboat. The Nichupte Lagoon is a Natural Protected Area, home to mangrove ecosystems, species of birds and marine life. The lagoon has fresh water and mixes with sea water of the Caribbean at the southern point of Cancun´s Hotel Zone.
