Amenities

Transportation to Puerto Morelos is provided in an air conditioned van. Drinks will be offered at the Beach Club which features bathrooms, showers and other services. The snorkel equipment includes life vest, mask, fins and snorkel tube. The maximum group size for this tour is of 20 participants.

Tour Tips

• It´s important to be in the lobby 10 minutes before pick-up time and at the meeting point for the ride back to Cancun.
• Wear hat, light clothes, bathing suit and sandals.
• Bring along extra money (for National Marine Park $3 USD fee per person, shopping, additional food and drinks), underwater camera, environmental friendly sun block, towels and change of clothes.
• It´s forbidden to touch coral reef and sea creatures, and extract shells from their natural habitat.

Puerto Morelos 30 minutes away from Cancun, and 30 minutes from Playa del Carmen. On February 2nd 1998, the coral reefs in Puerto Morelos were named Natural Protected Area and National Marine Park. Thousands of species of aquatic plants, fish and invertebrates, inhabit these reefs which require special protection.
